Parish Bathrooms Sees Employee Ride to Charitable Victory

Here at Parish Bathrooms, we are always committed to making sure that our clients know when we are actively working to improve the community around us, and we also encourage the success of our employees. We believe that when our staff do well, we are contributing meaningfully to the world around us, and that is part of what we try to do all the time.

That’s why when one of our staff members recently set out to complete a 100 mile charity bike ride for McMillan, we knew we had to talk about it. Obviously, we are very proud of this achievement, and we wanted to recognise it by talking about it.

The Hero of the Hour

The hero of the hour is one of our employees, and his name is Paul. Something you should probably know about Paul is that he’s never actually ridden more than about 50 miles on a bike before in his life. So, when he announced that he was taking up the challenge to cycle 100 miles to raise money for McMillan, we obviously wished him well and wanted to see how it all turned out.

The 100 mile cycle is the equivalent of a marathon, and it’s an incredible undertaking. The amount of stamina and dedication that is required to see this through the end is astounding, and we could not be prouder of Paul for his commitment.

Challenging the World

Paul will be undertaking the challenge at the end of May, as part of the RideLondon event. It is an event which puts a lot of emphasis on delivering stamina and requires a lot of physical ability, and we can’t wait to see how he will do.

We love it when staff members like Paul set out to challenge the world, because it shows that they can do anything they put their mind to. When they are doing it for a charitable cause, that’s even better. The entire team is going to be wishing him well from the outset, and we really hope that he does well and has a great time doing it.

Here at Parish Bathrooms, we’re not just interested in creating beautiful bathrooms to enable people with mobility issues to live independently in their own home. We want to make sure that we improve people's lives for the better, it’s one of the main values of the company, so a charitable bike ride is just another way that we try to help the world around us.

Final Thoughts

Paul, we could not be prouder of you. You are setting out to undertake an incredible challenge, and we wish you all the best. You really are making the team and our company proud, because you’re showing the world what it is that we’re all about. We will be there to cheer you on, and we can’t wait to see how well you do.

We just thought people would want to know about something like this, because considering all of the upsetting and distressing content in the news these days, we thought it would be a good time to talk about something positive, and Paul has given us an amazing opportunity!
