  • Do I need a 'mobility' bathroom?

    There are lots of reasons for fitting a new accessible bathroom to accommodate your mobility needs.  


    Most of our customers aren't registered as disabled.  


    They may be getting on in years and not quite as nimble as they used to be.  Or they may have a nagging long term injury or illness that makes life in the bathroom difficult.


    Some people may just need a level access walking shower or a couple of handrails.

  • I'm not sure if my bathroom is big enough to adapt to my mobility needs?

    We have adapted bathrooms of all shapes and sizes.  Our consultants can normally design a bathroom to suit your mobility needs regardless of the size of the room.

  • How much does a wet room cost?

    There are a number of factors to be taken into account.  The size of the wet room, the finishings, accessibility etc are all factors that can affect the cost of your wet room.

  • Can you adapt my en-suite bathroom?

    Yes, we have converted many ensuite bathrooms to accommodate our clients mobility needs.

  • Will my toilet be out of action?

    We will ensure that your toilet is only out of action for the shortest time possible.  If you have more than one toilet we will ensure that one is always working.

  • Will you need to turn the water off?

    Yes.  But we will work with you to ensure minimal disruption to you.

  • Will you remove all of the rubbish and waste materials

    Yes, absolutely.  We will remove all waste and rubbish so that your new bathroom is sparkling clean and ready to use.

  • I have trouble climbing stairs, can you relocate my bathroom to the ground floor.?

    Yes.  We have relocated bathrooms to the ground floor to accommodate many people who need a ground-floor bathroom due to their mobility issues.

  • How much does it cost to adapt my bathroom ?

    The cost depends on the specification you decide upon.  However, we can work with most budgets and provide a solution for your mobility needs.  whether that is just a walk-in shower, walk-in bath or a full wetroom.  

  • How long will it take?

    The time needed to convert your bathroom will depend very much on your mobility needs and specification.  


    Your Project Manager will advise you of the estimated time required at the outset.

  • Will my bathroom look like a hospital?

    No.  We  and build beautiful bathrooms that are also designed to support your unique mobility needs

  • What if there is a problem with my new bathroom?

    We provide a no-quibble guaranty for any leaks or issues that occur in the first year.  We are proud to say that this is rarely required.

  • Can you fit safety rails in my bathroom

    Yes.  We regularly fit safety rails in our walk-in showers and wet rooms.

  • Will there be a step for the shower?

    No.  We can fit level access showers so there is no need for any step to access your walk-in shower

  • Can you fit a hoist system into a walk-in bath?

    Yes.  We provide a wide range of walk-in baths, many of which have a hoist system or a seat that can be raised.

  • How safe are walk-in showers?

    The walk-in showers we fit have a wide range of safety features including scold proof controls, non slip floors, safety rails and seats.
